[EVENT PREVIEW] Hospitality at Motion, Bristol

As is the case every year, two of the county’s world’s most celebrated venues have, almost with with near-daily synchronisation, released their lineups for their upcoming shows. These venues are of course, The Warehouse Project in Manchester, and Motion in Bristol. Besides the certain sell-out shows featuring the likes of MK, Paul Oakenfold and The Martinez Brothers, one event in particular grabs the headlines, even when considering the aforementioned.

Especially after the unequivocal success of the Hospitality BBQ back in June, Motion once again welcomes back one of the world’s most important drum and bass record labels, for one of their famed venue takeovers.

DnB heavyweight, and all-round household name High Contrast rightly sits at the top of the bill, who plays off the back of his first ever live show back in March. And following in suite, in which offering one of the first outings of their brand new live show, are ambient duo Fred V & Grafix, who will be debuting their show in Bristol later this month.

Label-head London Elektricity also stops by for a special Med School set, supported by fellow Med School graduate Etherwood. Also supporting some of DnB’s most important names, include RAM Records’ Culture Shock, Fabio & Grooverider, and the gut-busting stylings of The Prototypes. Dynamite MC, IC3, SP:MC, and Ruthless take care of the mic throughout the night.

Hospitality are set to take over Motion on Saturday 14th October, with tickets on sale now from the Motion website.
