festival season is here?

Well, no, festival season isn’t here, it may be all over now, and nothing more than a bunch of foggy memories, but on the business-side of things, it’s all kickstarted again. A handful of the country’s top musical shindigs have already began their preparations for next summer, with a few even releasing some batches of tickets. Here we take a look at how the festival season’s shaping up thus far, and how and where you can get buy a ticket to your favourite.

Boomtown Fair
Boomtown Fair 2017 was the worthy recipient of the best festival award for this year’s event.  And looking to capitalise on its success, the Boomtown team and started the ball rolling already, releasing its first tier of tickets, and details on the next chapter of the journey. Next year’s Boomtown will be taking place from the 9-12th August, in its loyal home of Hampshire, and will be the 10th Chapter of its story, loosely titled as ‘The Machine Can’t Be Stopped’, which unless you’ve been a regular attendee, or you’ve been following Boomtown’s extravagant storyline, won’t make all that much sense.

However, what will make perfect sense is that tickets to Boomtown 2018 are now on sale, although you’ll have already missed out on the cheaper ‘tier 1 tickets’, those sold out in one evening. If you travel by coach you can expect a £25 discount, or for a full price ticket, you’ll need to part with £216- which is worth every penny.

Each year, Bestival undergoes radical changes, with new stages, themes, and layouts all part of its ever-growing site, this was of course no more epitomised by this year’s relocation to Dorset from its loyal home at the Isle of Wight. But at Bestival 2018, it’s all change once again, but an all-new date of early August, the 2nd-5th to be exact, and a brand new theme- ‘Circus’, described as ‘the most colourful show on earth’.

With no news on the lineup as of yet, Bestival is certainly a frontrunner within the best festivals in the country, and what’s more, tickets are now on sale at their cheapest available price- £161, that’s nearly £50 off the final release. Make sure you grab yours while you can.

Love Saves The Day
Love Saves The Day is one of, if not the best metropolitan festival around, continually offering a city-savvy two-day event, one that kicks off proceedings in early May- the second back holiday to be precise. With a diverse spectrum and electronic, rap and alternative music, Love Saves The Day is a well-orchestrated, tidy, and love-filled event that demands your attendance.

However, I’m not the only one who agrees, with both tier 1 and 2 of tickets already selling out. 3rd release tickets are now on sale, £38 for a day ticket, or £71 for the weekend, but this price isn’t likely to stay around for long.
