This weekend is Electric Daisy Carnival, a one-day music event held at the Milton Keynes Bowl. EDC offers the most exciting names in electronic music, from world-renowned EDM superstarsto champions of drum and bass. EDC UK is the British arm of the world renowned EDC series which includes their flagship event- EDC Las Vegas. It is organised and curated alongside the UK-based Festival Republic, the company behind some of the UK’s top music events such as Reading/Leeds, Latitude and Download.

Lineup-wise, EDC is as good as it gets, with some of the world’s biggest names set to wow a 35,000 strong crowd at the MK Bowl. For fans of chart-topping EDM, the king himself Avicii is set to headline one of his last European shows before retiring, other superstars of the genre such as Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Don Diablo and Martin Garrix are all also booked in to play the main stage.

‘When in Rome’ or more aptly ‘when in the UK’, is an astute way of describing the rest of EDC UK’s impressive lineup. While some of the music world’s most renowned DJs dominate the bill, the offerings in jungle, drum & bass, and UK-based DJs, are some of the finest of the year. Legendary dnb innovator Roni Size, and fellow pioneer Andy C, both sit prominently on the bill, with an array of hard-hitting support ready to release their beats upon the unsuspecting MK Bowl. Expect hard-hitting outings from Noisia, Friction and Pendulum, all not to be missed.

Rounding off an all-encompassing lineup, is some more British brilliance in the form of Goldie MBE, Culture Shock, DJ EZ, 99 Souls and Duke Dumont.

EDC UK offers one of, if not the most impressive electronic music lineup of the year, and with it rapidly approaching (this Saturday), make sure you grab your ticket before the last few of them sell out.
