Love Saves The Day is an incredible two-day metropolitan festival based in Bristol, one that’s continued to stay true to its roots and is eloquently unbudging on its originality. Last year, Love Saves The Day narrowly missed out on the metropolitan festival of the year award, and by the looks of it, LSTD seems set on scooping up the award next year, with its 2018 instalment already shaping up nicely.
Having already sold out of its first batch of tickets in under a week, Love Saves The Day has not just announced the dates and individual stage partners, but also its two headliners.
Saturday night headline duties are set to be taken care of by the original funk soul brother, one of electronic music’s most important and influential artists- none other than Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim. A day later, hot off scooping up the coveted Mercury Prize for his acclaimed debut album Process, is Sampha, who’ll be hosting an intimate headline set on Saturday night.
As mentioned, each of the festival’s stage hosts have also been announced, giving an indicator into what to expect with further lineup announcements. Just Jack, Artwork and Jackmaster will play host to their respective stages, as well as Crack Magazine, drum and bass institution Run, as well as Bristol-favourite The Blast. Hold Tight Records, Knee Deep In Sound and Horse Meat Disco are also among the names already announced for LSTD 2018.
Love Saves The Day takes place on the 24th and 25th of May 2018, with tickets on sale now on the LSTD website.
