Dusky 17 Steps Tour
Where: Motion, Bristol
When: Friday 20th April
Support: Alan Fitzpatrick, Hodge + Mella Dee, Kiwi
In the world of house-crisscrossing, bass-spurning electronic music, there aren’t many artists out there who match the current calibre of Dusky. Comprised of Nick Harriman and Alfie Granger-Howell, Dusky have steadily climbed the industry ladder since their breakthrough project, the widely acclaimed Stick To This. Their most recent full-length release 2016’s Outer, fused the worlds of house, techno, and electronica, with vast strings and big vocal performances. The album also played host to an undoubted modern day classic, the huge 80’s-nodding anthem, Ingrid is A Hybrid.
First announced back in November, the duo are now well within the rhythm of their 17-date European tour, a tour which saw stops in Amsterdam, Berlin, Geneva, as well as a host of sets across the UK. Next Friday (20th April), Dusky will be bringing their acclaimed 17 Steps Tour to the South West, with a stop at Bristol’s Motion, a club once again recognised as one of the world’s best, ranking in at number 16- the UK’s third highest entry. Support will come from Alan Fitzpatrick, Hodge + Mella Dee and Kiwi, who’ll be taking care of proceedings until the early hours.
Tickets for this event are now on last release, and not expected to be around for much longer, grab yours now from the Motion website.
