I’ll never tire of saying it, but we’re back: festivals, nightlife and live music really seem to be on the return.
And leading the charge is one of our personal favourites: legendary drum and bass label Hospital, who return with their famed Hospitality festival. The label had high hopes for this summer, teasing Hospitality On The Beach towards the end of last year, and it seems their optimism has paid off.
Hospitality In The Woods is a new spin on their hugely popular Hospitality In The Park, an event we know as one of the best drum and bass shindigs around. Taking place at Beckenham Park this September, the lineup is as stacked as you’d expect, covering all avenues of Britain’s best-loved bass genre.
After re-signing with Hospital after some time away within pop music, Netsky’s headline 10 year anniversary set is not to be missed, alongside one of the last ever chances to see Noisia; undoubted legends of the genre if ever there was one.
Let It Roll’s stage takeover promises some of weekend’s standout sets including AMC, Kanine, Bou alongside an exclusive B2B in the form of Bad Company UK, Ed Rush, Optical and Audio.
Lighter liquid fans are in for a treat, with a headline two hour set from Calibre/DRS, alongside LSB, Pola & Bryson and Etherwood. For fans of harder, heavy drum and bass you’re spoilt for choice, with a disgraceful B2B from My Nu Leng, Zinc, Randall and Trigga, as well as Dillinja, Kings of The Rollers, and frankly anything on the Playaz Stage.
Hospitality In The Woods is the best drum and bass event of the summer if the lineup has anything to do with it. But couple this bill with the famed hospitality of Hospitality, and In The Woods really is the place to be.
